So, a week ago, I made probably the most craptastic vid ever. No effects, no transitions, barely any clips - just me desperately wanting to put two characters within a song and tell a story. That's this vid, in all its craptastic glory. I love it though, because its Ace and the Doctor - and a short story I'd like to write down.

Episode: Doctors 7 - 9
Summary: The Doctor remembers Ace during the episode 'The End of the World'. Ace and the Doctor had this sort of Father/Daughter relationship, and since the season got cancelled, we never find out what happened to Ace. But since she wasn't around during the movie, we can only assume. I read somewhere that the writers say she went to his homeworld to study to be a Time Lady, if so, did she survive (hence the clip of Rose and the Doctor watching Earth burn serving as a 7th&Ace moment) or did she die during the war (his knowing look up at the sky)? I should have just created an icon set. *lol* Maybe I will.

I haven't made a music video in ages, ever since I couldn't update my Windows Movie Maker anymore. But ooglymoogly hooked me up and so I had to try out these new video makers. Of course, I had to give Doctor Who a try. Nothing flashy, one or two effects, but really its just me playing around with an episode.

MOST of them are centered around the 10th Doctor (half of which is just me playing around with images of David Tennant *lol*), but you'll find a few others that are for 4 and 9. I got some icons done Yesterday, course it may not be a fandom you know about, but hopefully some of you do. This is from an 80's drama-fantasy show called Beauty and the Beast, it featured Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman (woo! Hellboy!) and it was rather awesome, if not USTy and romantic all over. Hopefully it'll come to dvd with all the other newly released 80's shows, cause people need to experience more Perlman in a lion!man costume. You know the drill: Comment. Credit. Share.

So you're cleaning all the pollen off your TV screen and a genie pops out. In return for freeing her, she offers to grant you 5 changes to any TV show(s) you wish. With only 5 wishes, what do you wish for?
1. For Joan of Arcadia to restart the 2nd season with Joan being placed in Maryland's Psychiatric hospital after her initial treatment for Lyme disease. She's stays in the all girl's (the teen) ward where she's treated for her supposed delusions caused by the prolonged effects of her untreated Lyme Disease. There she meets her roomate Judith and has to deal with not only the "silence" and her friends and family on the outside world - but the patients inside as well. (Um, yeah, this is my idea for the revisted version of "Instrument of God")
2. Firefly to be brought back as a series on SciFi, but Joss has to be head writer (director?), they have to show the first 14 episodes as they are on DVD and in the order Joss wanted them so new fans will understand it.
3. Make Generation X a show, but with the right characters, but Scott Lobdell has to be lead writer and it has to be on SciFi.
4. Make Gabriel Knight a show, but Jane Jensen HAS to be lead writer, and it has to be on SciFi, and either Josh Holloway or Viggo Mortensen have to play Gabriel.
5. Give Tarzan another chance (at least a full season!), but on UPN or Scifi - somewhere where the show can take a few risks! |

Man, Veronica Mars gets more and more complicated with each episode - and I am LOVING it. Sorry Joan but unless you can keep up with the girl who kicks Nancy Drew's ass, I'm not going to feel all that bad about your quickening slide towards the edge of cancellation.
Yeah, I can't believe I just said that, but really, I could write better story lines. Hell, people who aren't even in the fandom could write better story lines.
That would make for a GREAT fic challenge: "Write what YOU think the 2nd season of Joan of Arcadia should have been".
